Programs

Infant Program

Our teachers at Elite Learning Academy and Preschool strive to ensure that our infants are in a nurturing, safe, clean, and thriving environment. We understand how much infants learn in such a short period of time and we are there every step of the way to ensure they meet their developmental milestones. As parents you will see that your children are cuddled, rocked, loved and getting the one on one attention they so desperately desire. We begin to introduce infants to different textures while ensuring they are engaged in art activities, singing, and reading books. Our infants are able to explore in their environment at their own pace while learning through their five senses. We cheer our infants on as they begin to incorporate independence into their lives.

Toddler Program

Our toddler program incorporates learning through positive reinforcement while implementing our Appelbaum Curriculum. It is a very hands on curriculum where children get to learn and explore their surrounding with touch. We focus on six domains daily to include circle time, language/literacy, math, art, music/movement, and social skills. Our teachers strive to role model to our children how to appropriately share toys, use their manners, and utilize their words when talking to friends and teachers as much as possible.

Preschool Program

Our three year old preschool program incorporates learning through a three year old Appelbaum Curriculum. We strive to ensure our children learn self-help skills in addition to manners when talking and communicating with their peers. Our classroom is set up with many different stations throughout. We include centers during the day to ensure structure and organization in the classroom. All of our learning and educational materials are completed within the classroom.

Pre-K Program

Our Pre-K program utilizes the Learning without Tears Curriculum. Our focus is to ensure that our children are as prepared for kindergarten as possible. We work with Gretna Public Schools to ensure that our children are meeting all of the necessary standards and requirements prior to kindergarten. We help our children identify sight words, letter and number recognition, and work on penmanship. Additionally, our classroom is set up in a structured fashion where children are participating in centers. All of our learning and educational materials are completed within the classroom.
